Anilox rollers and sleeves

Precision metering tools engineered for a specific process.

We design and manufacture anilox rollers and sleeves for a specific process: the type of ink or coating, required transfer volume, machine parameters and the expected effect on the finished packaging.

Manufacturing and regeneration

From base preparation to final tool inspection.

The process starts with preparation of a new roller base or regeneration of an existing body. We then build the working layers, machine the surface, perform laser engraving, polishing and final dimensional inspection. Base parameters, diameters and working width are selected for the specific machine and operating conditions.

Ink-cell geometry

Standard ink-cell structures.

A selection of standard structures used in our offer — consistent with the GLOBAL Flexo catalogue. Microscopic images, descriptions and key benefits are presented in the same technical structure as in the catalogue.

Standard Class

Universal multi-purpose hexagonal Standard Class structure, available at any engraving angle (30° and 60° as standard), optimized for line screens from 40 to 600 l/cm.

  • A reliable and fully predictable structure proven over many years.
  • Wide range of line screens from 40 to 600 lines per centimetre.
  • Precise and uniform ink transfer.
  • High printing-process efficiency.
  • Easy cleaning of the engraved surface.
  • Ink cells can be opened to improve uniformity when transferring high-viscosity inks.

Hybrid Class

Hybrid Class ink-cell geometry makes it possible to increase the printing plate screen while maintaining high optical density. Ideal for combination printing: solid areas, fine text and halftone elements.

  • Precise and uniform transfer.
  • Wide range of line screens from 40 to 600 lines per centimetre.
  • Simplified cleaning and longer service life.
  • Higher optical density at the same line screen.

Snake / Uni Line

Open-flow Snake and Uni Line structures suit many applications depending on the engraving geometry. They perform particularly well when printing on paper substrates with water-based inks.

Uni-Line — for adhesives, coatings and colour printing.
Uni-Line TOP — for high-viscosity inks (for example in so-called dry offset printing).
Uni-Line Pack — for high-gloss coatings.
Uni-Line White — for high optical-density solids and high-opacity whites.
  • Precise and uniform transfer.
  • A cleaner printing plate and therefore better printing-process efficiency.
  • Easy cleaning of the engraved surface.
  • High optical density.
  • Reduced ghosting.

We use the latest Twin Track engraving technology from Applied Laser Engineering Ltd, allowing us to meet the individual requirements of a specific printing process — both by modelling dedicated ink-cell structures and by increasing ink capacity at defined line screens for generally available structures.
